The Shandong Construction Engineering and Equipment Exhibition Area showcases the province's formidable strength as both a major economic hub and a leading region in China's opening-up. In 2025, the province ranked third nationally in turnover from overseas contracted projects, with seven enterprises listed among the ENR Top 250 International Contractors. The "Shanhaijing" Overseas Comprehensive Service Hub is a key provincial-level integrated service platform for going global highlighted in the exhibition area, which has been selected as one of the first five exemplary cases of local overseas comprehensive service hubs by the Ministry of Commerce, aiming to precisely empower enterprises to go global safely and efficiently.

In terms of overseas contracted projects, leading enterprises such as Shandong Hi-speed Group, Qingjian Group Co., Ltd., and Weihai International Economic & Technical Cooperative Co., Ltd. are showcasing landmark projects including the Serbia E763 Expressway project, the Minton Residential project in Singapore, and the Maya-Maya International Airport in the Republic of the Congo. Zhongqing Jian'an Group is presenting its overseas projects such as the Philippines City Shopping Mall, Field Residential Community, and the Nigeria IBETO Food Factory, etc.

In terms of foreign assistance projects, Yanjian Group has undertaken a total of 31 aid projects in over 20 countries. Among them, the Tajikistan Parliament Building Project serves as the seat of the Parliament of Tajikistan and stands as an important symbol of the friendship between China and Tajikistan.

The exhibition area comprehensively demonstrates Shandong's full-chain strength in going global, ranging from engineering construction to enterprise services, and from traditional infrastructure to green and intelligent development.
