Zhejiang International Contractors Association is a Zhejiang-based non-profit industry organization comprising upstream & downstream enterprises engaged in overseas project contracting, labor service cooperation and project investment. The establishment of the association was approved by Zhejiang Provincial Department of Civil Affairs in May 2012, and its operations were directed by Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce. The association was awarded the 5A (AAAAA) Social Organization in April 2017,and   it was re-evaluated and maintained the 5A rating again in 2024.

The association sticks to the principle of “integrating resources, ‘forming closely knit groups when going overseas’, win-win cooperation and promoting development”, follows the tenet of “development, cooperation, innovation, service” and leads all its members to develop markets and drive industrial development with an international strategic vision. It primarily functions to provide information about overseas construction project and labor service; render policy & legal consulting; carry out international project exchange & cooperation; organize global project exhibitions and members’ business training; practice industry self-regulation.

Currently, the association has more than 150 member enterprises that involve housing construction, transportation, electric power, communication, water service, engineering construction, minerals, environment, equipment, fishery, logistics, labor service, etc. They have undertaken over 2,000 projects in more than 150 countries and regions across the world, and they provide owners with full-industrial-chain services of engineering survey, consulting, design, construction, procurement, equipment installation, project consulting, management, operations, maintenance, etc.
