Established in 1946 in London, Arup is an international and diversified engineering consulting firm. Dedicated to sustainable development, Arup is a collective of designers, engineers, consultants, and experts working globally. Founded to be humane and excellent, we collaborate with our clients and partners using imagination, technology, and rigour to shape a better world. 

We opened our Hong Kong office in 1976 as our East Asia headquarter and started our venture into the mainland in the early 1980s. Since then we have established offices in Shenzhen, Shanghai, Beijing, Macau, Guangzhou, and Taipei, bringing the total number of staff to nearly 3,000 in the territory. From ambitious buildings to mega infrastructure and strategic planning projects, Arup is the creative force behind some of the most prominent urban projects in the country.
